As a result, information and media literacy skills are becoming increasingly important in today’s digital world. In addition to information overload, a serious issue is the spread of disinformation, fake news, and conspiracy theories, which hinder the progress and development of society. Disinformation and fake news are often shared by individuals due to ignorance or misinterpretation of data, which is why it is crucial to continually educate ourselves, verify sources, and develop information literacy skills.
