Verification of the accuracy of the statement of the candidate for president of the Republic of Croatia, Ivana Kekin, about the minimum wage in Croatia

The minimum wage in Croatia for 2024 is 840 euros gross, or 677 euros net.

On the official Facebook page of the political platform Možemo!, on December 14, 2024, a press conference on women’s reproductive rights was broadcast. During the conference, presidential candidate Ivana Kekin made the following statement: “The basic examination, every doctor will tell you, that a woman must have annually is a gynecological exam with ultrasound plus a pap smear test. The prices are regularly above 100 euros, 110, 115, 120 euros. That is the amount a woman must spend annually in private polyclinics in Zagreb.
